The project site is located in Assaluyeh, Bushehr Province. Bushehr Province, covering an area of about 27,653 square kilometers, is situated in southern Iran along the Persian Gulf coast. The city of Assaluyeh is located in the southeastern part of Bushehr Province.
In designing the concept for the 110-bed Assaluyeh Hospital, the building’s extension was determined based on the climate and the site’s lines.
The building volume is divided into three main parts for spatial separation.
Using the central courtyard pattern, we achieved a three-part spatial division that is both compatible with the climate and adds a suitable communal and well-lit space to the project.
To improve lighting and functional connectivity, a stepped structure facing south was designed considering the angle of sunlight.
A central core was positioned to highlight the medical volume and provide vertical circulation.
Vertical circulation elements were also placed in the northern part to minimize obstruction of light to the spaces.
