The project site for the 200-bed hospital in Varamin is located in the southeastern area of Varamin, in the southern part of Tehran Province, with an approximate area of 38,650 square meters.
Given that the 200-bed hospital in Varamin is situated within an urban area, the site’s access routes have been designated with two primary and secondary levels, which maximizes the reduction of traffic congestion around the entrance and emergency areas.
The emergency entrance, main entrance, and the psychiatry entrance are positioned on three different sides of the building.
To enhance aesthetics and maximize natural light for the various treatment areas, a central light well was created.
The height of one side of the building was reduced to provide adequate light to the lower levels.
Additionally, the width of the three other sides of the building was decreased on the upper floors to achieve standard natural lighting depth in the patient rooms.
The stairwell and elevator boxes were placed at the two outer edges of the “U”-shaped structure to create optimal vertical and horizontal accessibility within the spatial layout.
